Beginning...

After few days of trying to familiarize myself with the commands, and how to fly my ship i was so eager to do what i wanted to do.

I wanted to mine ORE, I have been / am very busy in my life so mining seemed like a very nice - relax stuff while i listen some music, drink coffee and figure out what i want to do in the rest of the day, and it was giving me those chills from SF movies "hey look at me, i am alone in a deep space, mining the hell out of the asteroid belts, and i am going to sell all this stuff and be rich"

19 minutes later.....

HEY THIS SUCKS

I WANNA KILL SOMEBODY, i am flying a spaceship, i want my lasers to pew pew other spaceship, hell with the mining.... i waaaannnntttt blood.

Hell yeah, i immediately warped my ship to the station, and i bought some PvP equipment from the local market and after a while.... i was ready.

I was absolutely sure what i am gonna do... I am going to a less secure space and i am going to find my first victim. (there is no safe space in EvE universe, just more safe, and less safe)

Low sec system... here i am, warp to the nearest belt is initiated, scans: clear, system local count:6. Hmm, maybe i will chill a bit here and explore. After 15 minutes of warping around the system my scan result showed positive result: Bestower (transport class vehicle). Woohooo i am gonna kill a transport ship. I immediatley tried to find it. I warped to next system gate, he wasnt there. Let's try station, at the moment i arrived to the station, i saw him warp to the gate.

DAMN, you will not get away.

I started another warp from the station to the gate and i arrived at the same time as he did.

That was my first PvP experiance.. if you can call it that way. Immediatley after that i went on forums and started a topic demanding the explanation of my death...

Reply came in short notice, and from no other, than real pirates.

"Hey dude, u seem like a cool guy, come over to "Akora" system (3 hour flying - 30 jumps - systems away from my current location) and we will show you how it's done.

So i packed my belongings, and in my new rookie ship i selected the Akora system, clicked on autopilot, and the rest is history...

Explanation: Each low sec system has gate guns positioned at the star gates and at the system stations. If somebody makes agression in that area gate guns fire on him. And my rookie ship wasnt strong enough to sustain gate guns damage - not even a single volley.
